Kiana "Garden of the Gods" Conference Center selected 42 units of 6' x 12' SolaQuad Skylights to replace failing skylights and solve excessive glare and poor energy performance.

“With the standard skylight panels we had before, we couldn't control the light and had too much sun and no insulation,” said Jay Mills, Director, Kiana Lodge. “I’d go up there and put black tablecloths and then had to lay bricks so that the wind wouldn't blow them away, all to accommodate the client.”

The SolaQuad Units allow maximum control of daylight transmission. Problems with leakage due to heavy Northwest rains are also a thing of the past and SolaQuad's excellent thermal performance has significantly improved heat retention for the facility on cold winter days. The SolaQuad  "Quick Dim" shading feature enables corporate guests to use Power Point Presentations on bright sunny days.
